Workshop 2: The Epistemological Implications of Implicit Bias

Implicit biases have very important implications for epistemology, as they seem to influence our reasoning in some surprising and disturbing ways. Here we will explore

questions like the following: What can individual inquirers do to correct for their implicit biases, and how does incorporating this affect existing views on the nature of

knowledge (or justification)? What can communities of inquirers do (including the issue of what philosophers should do)? How do implicit biases connect up with

existing work on epistemic injustice? What are the implications of implicit biases for self-knowledge?
